The electrical panel that came with the boat failed many years ago. That was replaced by a six-circuit fuse panel cut into the existing control panel bezel. During the major refit for my Lake Superior trip in 2007 I gutted the control wiring and installed a new 13 circuit breaker panel from bluesea.com/category/7
I started with mounting a block of wood against the hull behind the control panel to support a terminal strip to land all the cabin and exterior wiring. I than cut the hole to make the new panel fit and made a harness to the new terminal strip. To finish it all off I made a trim around the panel and secured it with Velcro so that it could be removed should you want access to the back of the panel.
